Prices are a guide only, as dog size, temperament, coat condition, and styling needs are all factors.
Standard service includes
Double shampoo, blow dry and fluff dry
Nails trimmed
Ear cleaning / plucking
De-shredding / clipping / scissoring/ stripping
Finishing spritz of cologne.
Puppy Groom
Puppy groom (A gentle introduction to grooming, for puppies under 6 months, after their first set of vaccinations) wash, fluff dry, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, face and hygiene area tidied).
Price guide
Full grooms – from £37. As I work alone I have needed to concentrate on smaller breeds for health reasons so I only groom dogs up to 10kg (Westies, Shih tzus miniature schnauzer size)
Puppies – £20 intro
Wash, blow-dry and brush through only – from £20
Matted dogs may need to be clipped off short, as this is much kinder.
Regular visits and brushing in between are very important.
Salon policy
Coat condition
I practice humanity over vanity. If the coat has been neglected and its kinder to remove the coat than to de-mat this will be done in accordance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006. Whilst I make every effort to identify this at the start of the groom there may be occasions where the degree of matting cannot be fully identified until I commence the groom.
In this event I will make every effort to contact you however if this is not possible I will, in my professional opinion, do what I believe is in the best interest of the welfare of the dog.
Fleas
The salon is a tick/flea free environment. If your dog is known to have a parasitic infestation, I ask that you reschedule your grooming appointment to a time when your pet is free from said infestation. 48 hours notice must be provided to avoid a cancellation charge. If fleas are found on your dog, I will use a flea shampoo and need to do an additional deep disinfection of my premises and equipment. An additional £15 will be charged to your bill.
Drop off
Please ensure your dog has been to the toilet, and is dropped of punctually, if more than 15 mins late I will likely need to reschedule.
Collection
Punctual collection is also very important as I groom one to one and my schedule would be disrupted with late collections. More than 30 mins late and there will be a fee of £5 for every 15 mins.
Please also do not arrive early as once your dog has seen you it may not be possible too finish the groom safely.
Payment
Payment must be made on collection by cash or transfer.
Price is an estimate, if the dog has gone longer than the recommended time between grooms or hasn’t been brushed at home and requires a longer slot due to de matting/difficult behaviour there may be further fees.
Cancellations
48hrs notice is required for cancellations.
If you give less than 24 hours notice/don’t show, a 50% no show fee will be payable before a future booking can be
If it happens 2 or more times the full grooming charge will apply and must be paid in full before re-booking.
Text reminders are sent as a curtesy to avoid this.
You must inform me if your dog has bitten/has aggressive tendencies.
I may use your dogs photo on my Facebook page, please let me know if that is an issue.
